This is an unofficial trail to the summit of Mount Kidd Fire Lookout, the trail is not listed in Gillean Daffern's book. Only the villagers would know about this trail and how to reach it.

The trail starts just outsite the Kananaskis Village near a baseball diamond. The trail is very narrow and steep, yet it is very straigh forward once you pass the tree line in about twenty minutes into the hike. From there, it offers the views of Kananaskis Valley and the Kananaskis Villege just right below you. Some distinctive mountains like The Wedge and Mount Badly can be spotted in near distance.

Upon reaching the top, you have a better view of the back side of the lookout; or you have the option to continue hike on the ridge until you hit the cliff of Mount Kidd.
