The Burstall Pass trail is one of the easiest and most popular routes
to splendid alpine meadows and fascinating karst ridges in Kananaskis
Country. The apporach travels through some fine meadows along Burstall
Creek and Burstall Flats, and the views from the pass are impressive in
all directions and encompass some of the highest peaks in the Canadian
Rockies
encompassing Leman Lake, Spray Pass, Chester valley and Mt. Birdwood,
An even better view is reputedly gained by ascending the ridge that separates
Burstall Pass and South Burstall Pass.
