Turquoise Moraine Lake, set in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, is regarded by many as more dramatic and striking than its sister, Lake Louise. The stroll meanders along its wooded lakeshore is suitable for people of all ages. However, the views are are fewer than one expected.

On this trail, the green lake set against the magnificent backdrop of the Valley of the Ten Peaks is exquisite indeed. The first of the ten peaks, Mount Fay, starts right next to the lake. To its right are Mount Little, Mount Bowlen, Mount Tonsa, Mount Perren, Mount Allen, Mount Tuzo, Deltaform Mountain, Neptuak Mountain, and Wenkchemna Peak.

The trail is often fringed with wildflowers in summer, and winds through an open forest with lake views. The forest becomes mossy and marshy as the trail winds deeper into the woods. Near the end of the lake, the sound of the rumbling of a glacial stream could be heard. The trail ends in a cool, dense forest before end ing at the stream.
